Predestined-UGANDA

Welcome!
“The Predestined” is a Ugandan song and dance group founded in 2001 by AOET (Action for Empowerment). The Predestined’s music and dances mix the styles of African, R&B, hip-hop and Zouk. Predestined writes its own songs, records the audio and video and creates its own dance.

Originally designed as a tool to sensitize the masses (especially youngsters) about the dangers of HIV/AIDS, the group has become a major source of funding for AOET and has created much-needed publicity for their ministry. All funds generated on tours go directly to AOET programs.

“This Music has been very instrumental in reaching young people with HIV/AIDS awareness programs. It has also helped us to widely sell AOET. This has helped us secure donations for orphans’ education and the well-being of widows,” says Sam Tushabe, executive producer of the group and founder of AOET.

“We have so many needs and so few resources, but we appeal to those who can help organize concerts or presentation or tours for The Predestined to lend a hand,” Tushabe adds.
